The request for information should be on one list with due dates. We received multiple requests for the same info or requests for more detailed info later on in the process. For example, first there was a request for my pension monthly statement. Then there was another reuqest for the monthly statement. ( I was told that the info I gave to Cash to Keys was not accessible by the Mortgage Division even though they are under the same umbrella company.) Finally there was a request for my original pension award letter which stated what my monthy pension was and that it would continue until my death. Then my wife would receive 75% of my pension until her death. Why not ask for that in the first place? We got involved with a lot of different people through the process. I had to deny giving my social security number over the phone to one person because I had no idea if she was legitimately involved with Annie Mac or Greater Philly Abstract. If she was legit, why couldn't she get it from my file?? The review of over 131 pages of closing documents the night before the closing made no sense to me. Was I supposed to call Michael at 10 PM when I finally had a break from packing before going to bed if I had questions?? The Close itself was very smooth and the Cash to Keys offer was a comfort even though it turns out we did not have to initiate it.
