There was some miscommunication in the beginning with the loan officers about how much I was approved for vs purchase price. As well as miscommunication about all of the ins and outs of what's included in the loan. For example, I was told in order to not pay the mortgage insurance, I'd have to have 20% down, which is true. However, they told me the mortgage insurance would drop off my loan after I paid 20% down total over about 5 years, and this was not true. The insurance is for the life of my loan unless I refinance. There was other miscommunications like this in the beginning, but after this everything went really smoothly and easily and Brian helped bundle my closing costs into the loan. Overall the experience was very good, just a few annoying hiccups in the beginning.

Jason was a clear communicator. He absolutely was responsive to all my questions, was patient, and explained everything in detail.
However, the initial service I received from the underwriting processing team was poor at best. The contact was delayed an minimal, and I learned later the processing itself contained errors which ultimately required repeat of the appraisal and also delayed the closing.

Process was easy from the start. Karalee communicated efficiently and responded to questions quickly. Closing happened more quickly than I anticipated which was a positive. The only slight inconvenience was having to communicate with the 3rd party mortgage information vendor. Seemed unnecessary.
