Casey was personable, accessible by phone and text and attentive to our needs explaining the process, options and what was needed and why. He assisted us in problem solving when required and providing professional advice to support our decision making. His knowledge, communication and professionalism was excellent and the reason we would recommend others.
The use of the mobile app and online secure accounts were beneficial. We would suggest orienting new users to the mobile app based on an individual's savviness with technology. This would benefit users in uploading documents securely.
Communication with other team members particularly during the underwriting review and process was less personable and effective and lacked consistency. While the communication slightly improved toward the end of our underwriting process, we would recommend that team members be aware of the preferred communication style of loan applicants and their familiarity of the mortgage language and expectations for compliance needs. Providing explanations, confirming receipt of and appropriate documents, and acknowledging the social-emotional implications of the mortgage process are suggested to enhance the team's service to others.
